Recap - Tacos & Tequila Tailgate, Jets Cooking School at ICE

I recently attended the New York Jets and ICE (Institute of Culinary Education) Jets Cooking School Tacos & Tequila Tailgate event. This was a super fun opportunity to learn some simple cooking techniques along with several delicious recipes for everything from handmade corn tortillas to classic margaritas. Throughout the night we moved from station to station, putting these techniques into practice to prepare a huge Monday Night Football taco party for the entire group. Over the course of an hour, I learned to make a delicious Ginger Margarita, Baja fish tacos, Grilled steak tacos with avocado crema, and churros sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with bittersweet chocolate. All in all, it was a great foodie experience and we left with some great parting gifts - a Wusthof Classic 8" chef knife and kitchen shears as well as a gift card to attend another ICE cooking class.
